‘The exhibition ‘De Fantasiefabriek – Animatie in Nederland’ is dedicated to the art of animation in the Netherlands. Over 50 films, unique artwork and ‘making ofs’ reveal the quality of Dutch animation, both today and in the past. Artists featured include: Gerrit van Dijk, Paul Driessen, Michael Dudok de Wit, Han Hoogerbrugge, Floris Kaayk, Frodo Kuipers, Patrick Raats and Academy Award 2010 nominee Roelef van den Bergh.
The exhibition has been made in partnership with the NIAf, the Netherlands Institute for Animation film.’

Animamix Biennial 2009-2010 is the first major cross straits international Biennial jointly hosted by four museums- MoCA Shanghai, MoCA Taipei, MoCA Kaoshiung and Today Art Museum in Beijing. It consists of five different exhibitions curated by Victoria Lu, Beatrice Peini Hsieh, Maple Yujie Lin, Pan Qing, Liu Chunfeng.

De stripintendant van het Fonds BKVB Gert Jan Pos organiseert op zaterdag 7 november tussen 10.00 en 17.00 uur tijdens het HAFF een Kunststripbeurs in de Janskerk in Utrecht. Midden in het land en midden in de stad, en op 2 minuten loopafstand van de festivallocaties van het HAFF.

Striptekenaars, animatoren, illustratoren en beeldend kunstenaars zullen daar zelf hun originelen, zeefdrukken, boeken en merchandise aan de man brengen. Hans van de Meulengraaf (cKoe), Han Hoogerbrugge, Joost Swarte en Theo van de Boogaard zijn enkele namen van een lange lijst creatieven.
