Cette exposition propose une sélection d’œuvres, d’artistes et de pratiques qui s’inscrivent dans le registre de l’idiotie, l’absurde, le burlesque. D’un néon moqueur à des performances filmées en passant par des dessins saugrenus, les œuvres qui composent l’exposition sont autant de peaux de bananes disposées sur une planche déjà bien savonnée.

Ter afsluiting van de Illustratie Biënnale 2010, zaterdag 5 juni in de Toneelschuur in Haarlem, presenteert Francisco van Jole ‘Pro Stress’, het nieuwe boek van Han Hoogerbrugge. Om 18.00 uur zal Van Jole, journalist, presentator en columnist voor de VARA, Tros, Volkskrant, Bright en De Nieuwe Reporter het eerste exemplaar van ‘Pro Stress’ overhandigen aan Hoogerbrugge.

Pro Stress is de gedrukte weergave van de website prostress.com waar Han Hoogerbrugge dagelijks op humoristische wijze de wereld aanschouwt. Het boek zal zaterdag in de Toneelschuur te koop zijn, waar het natuurlijk door Hoogerbrugge kan worden gesigneerd.

Hoogerbrugge geeft tevens op zaterdag 5 juni om 14.00 uur een presentatie over zijn werk in de grote zaal van de Toneelschuur, in het kader van de Illustratie Biënnale 2010.
